time to brag

I must take just a second of your time to brag on my most incredible husband. He truly is an amazing man to me. He loves me dearly and is always finding ways to take care of me and shower me with his love.

This past weekend when he was home he spent 3 hours one day cooking two amazing meals from scratch for our family. He made a Shepherds' Pie that would put anyone in Ireland to shame! Everything from scratch and most of the veggies from our local Farmer's Market. That same day he roasted some tomatos in the oven for hours and then made some amazing homemade tomato soup that I have enjoyed again twice this week since he has been gone.

Aaron loves to cook. I hate to cook. We make a great team!

I cooked TWO meals today. That is more than I cooked all this past week!!!! Yeap for lunch the boys and I had tostado's and for dinner we had turkey sausage and mac n' cheese and rolls. Yeah for me!

I also found this website today that I haven't visited yet but I will tonight after the kids are down - www.thesneakychef.com - it is all about getting veggies and good food into your kids diet without them knowing!! I did get the V8 fusion drinkn today at Target. We went with the strawberry/banana flavor. We'll see how that goes over tomorrow!!

Valentine cookies

My friend, April, that I work with helped her sister with a fundraiser for their upcoming Guatemala adoption. They made cookies and suckers for Valentine's day and raised $1500! Isn't that amazing! I love adoption fundraisers. They take someone laying down their pride and saying, hey we need help! Help us! I love to help!

I bought a cookie for each of my loves! C loved it and even licked it forever until we made him eat it!
